Awesome to see some incredible artists get the attention and recognition that they deserve. Jason Isbell, Gillian Welch, Hayes Carll and Justin Townes Earle received nominations for the Americana Music Association‘s artist of the year this past week,  along with Isbell’s three other nominations for “Song of the Year”, “Group of the Year”, and “Album of the Year”. The Americana Honors and Awards ceremony will be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Sept. 12.
